You've read my thoughts on Bubblews before - it's a revenue-sharing site where anyone can post blogs and get paid for it.
Yes. But hold off on the heart attack for a moment while I explain.
I joined Bubblews a year or so ago, and although the platform was a little rough around the edges, the premise was sound. Every time you submit a post - or a "bubble" as they call it - you earn pennies for every view, every like and every comment on that piece. You can even watch the amount in your virtual Bubblews bank go up. It's mesmerizing!
Of course I've been busy with other things, like any other Freelance Cat, so I've been neglecting my account. Earlier this month I logged in, and was blown away by the changes! GOOD changes. The site looks great now, much more streamlined and easier to use. Bubbles come with photos, both personal and archived on the site. There seem to be fewer errors while navigating and posting. Best news of all? The magic money machine works just like before, and all you have to write is 300 characters' worth of content.
The vibe at Bubblews is pretty chill - there are no commentary wars going on over there. In fact, most comments are pretty inane: "Great post! I look forward to seeing more from you." Stuff like that. Very neighbourly.
If you like sending words out into the world for people to read, I totally suggest signing up. You can connect with all kinds of people from nearly every part of the world, and earn a tidy bit of tip money while you're at it.
One thing to take into consideration, though: this site is not populated by what I would call "professional" or even "semi-professional" WRITERS. It's populated by PEOPLE who happen to be WRITING. Be kind, and make some friends!
